Turn-key PCBA
Send one BOM and one Gerber set. We fabricate the bare boards, buy or kit the components from our own stock, assemble them on our own SMT lines, test them in our own laboratory and ship finished assemblies — under one quotation and one schedule.
Why one supplier for boards and parts
One counterparty, not four
Fabrication, components, assembly and test sit in the same company. When a footprint does not match a reel, or a part goes end-of-life, the answer comes back from the people building the boards — not from a chain of suppliers each blaming the next.
We already hold the parts
Our own Beijing warehouse plus a partner supplier's live list means common passives, connectors, discretes and a good number of ICs are already on the shelf when the Gerber arrives. Anything on those lists ships without a purchasing round.
Testing in the same building
EMC pre-compliance, emission and immunity scans, and thermal, vibration and damp-heat runs happen in our own chamber. There is no third-party booking between your build and your compliance report.
Prototypes and volume on the same line
Five boards and five thousand boards are built on the same equipment with the same process controls, so the prototype is a real indication of the production run.
Five ways to hand a project over
How much of the supply chain you keep, and how much we take, is entirely up to you.
| Arrangement | You provide | We do | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full turn-key | Gerber + BOM + quantities | Fabricate board, buy every component, assemble, test, pack | Most chosen Single invoice, single delivery date. Most popular for volumes above ~50 boards. |
| Partial turn-key | Gerber + BOM + the parts you already own | Fabricate board, buy the rest, assemble and test the whole thing | Useful when you hold long-lead or custom parts and want us to fill in the remainder. |
| Consignment (kitted) | Gerber + boards or fully kitted components | Assemble and test only | You control the supply chain; we run the line to your process and your travellers. |
| Kitting only | Gerber + BOM | Buy the parts, label per reel and per board, ship the kit | For customers with their own assembly line who want the sourcing work done. |
| Quick-turn prototype | Gerber + BOM + a deadline | Fabricate, source, assemble and ship in the shortest possible programme | Fastest Booked as a single expedited job rather than a production schedule — for first articles and engineering builds. |

How a build runs
- Files inGerber RS-274X, pick-and-place or centroid file, BOM with quantity and reference designators.
- DFM & BOM reviewWe check the stack-up, apertures and clearances, and resolve the BOM against manufacturer numbers.
- QuotationPriced lines, availability stated per line, alternatives flagged, lead time committed.
- FabricationBare boards built to the agreed stack-up, with impedance coupons where specified.
- KittingComponents picked from our own stock first, then bought in; labelled per reel and per board.
- SMT assemblyPaste print and SPI inspection, placement, reflow, AOI, X-Ray on hidden joints.
- Through-holeWave or selective soldering and hand work for odd-form parts, then washing.
- TestICT and functional test to the agreed procedure, plus EMC or environmental runs if required.
- Pack & shipAnti-static packing, moisture barrier bags with desiccant, consolidated dispatch.
What we need to quote
Six things, and the quotation comes back complete rather than full of questions.
Gerber files
RS-274X extended Gerber, plus drill files (Excellon) and any routing layers.
BOM
Manufacturer part number, reference designators and quantity per board. Our BOM tool formats this for you.
Pick-and-place file
Centroid file with X, Y and rotation per reference, so we do not guess placements.
Quantities
Prototype quantity, then expected repeat or volume quantity — pricing changes with both.
Test requirement
ICT, functional test, EMC pre-compliance or environmental runs, and what proof you need.
Target date & budget
So we can propose a build sequence or an alternative part rather than simply decline.
File formats we can read
| Gerber | RS-274X, one file per layer plus solder mask and silkscreen |
|---|---|
| Drill | Excellon, with plated and non-plated holes separated |
| Pick & place | Centroid / XY file: reference, X, Y, rotation, side |
| BOM | Excel or CSV: part number, manufacturer, reference(s), quantity per board |
| Assembly drawing | Optional but helpful for polarity, odd-form parts and mechanical limits |
| Test procedure | Optional: your procedure, or we write one for approval |

Check your BOM against our stock
Paste your part numbers and quantities into the BOM checker. It tells you immediately which lines we already hold, which are at our partner supplier and which have to be bought in — then turns the whole list into an enquiry.
Questions buyers ask first
Can you work with a BOM that has no manufacturer part numbers?
We can, but it costs time and accuracy. Send whatever you have — descriptions, supplier codes, links, photographs of the parts — and we will identify them. Every unidentified line is quoted as an assumption and confirmed with you before build.
What if one line in my BOM is obsolete or a 20-week lead time?
You hear about it before you commit, not after. We flag it at quotation stage with options: an alternative we hold, a cross from another manufacturer, or a part you supply yourself. We also keep discontinued logic, memory and programmable parts for equipment in service.
Do you support both consignment and turn-key on the same order?
Yes. A common arrangement is that you ship the expensive or custom devices and we buy the passives and the boards. Say which lines you are keeping and the quotation reflects it.
Will the prototype tell me anything about the production build?
Yes — prototypes and volume run on the same equipment with the same controls. The difference is tooling and scheduling, not process.
Can you help with EMC failures on a board we already have?
Yes. Our own 3-metre anechoic chamber runs emission and immunity scans, and engineers sit next to the line, so a failed scan can be diagnosed rather than just reported.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order value. Quick-turn prototypes and single boards are welcome — tell us the date you need them and we will say plainly whether we can make it.
Have a BOM or a Gerber file?
Send it over — you get pricing, availability and a lead time, normally within one working day.
